As a member of the supplier quality engineering team she/he will interface with peers and suppliers in order to prevent problems by driving initiatives such as: early supplier involvement (ESI) in new product development and establishing and sustaining process capability for production processes required to support these products. In addition elements of such capability will include: developing and sustaining of the supplier's quality management system.
