Completes a wide variety of transit/transportation engineering and planning assignments, applying engineering techniques and analysis, including conceptual and preliminary engineering for various transportation projects. The Engineer at this level is a fully qualified professional, proficient in the utilization of most engineering and transportation planning theories and practices. Some assignments involve FTA New Starts Transportation Planning work, CAE (computer aided engineering)/CAD (computer aided design) applications.
