Perform design tradeoffs, evaluation, and selection of mechanical components to meet performance and cost goals. Select, evaluate and manage component suppliers and prototype manufacturers, and interface with contract manufacturers. Design products to minimize ESD and EMI susceptibility. Develop design approaches to reduce cost in current products.
