This position involves managing mechanical engineering and design for projects of high level of complexity. Conducts condition assessment of building mechanical systems. Produces design criteria documents, calculations, drawings and specifications for mechanical building systems including HVAC, plumbing, and some process piping. Develops costs estimates for mechanical building systems. Serves as mechanical engineer-of-record for design documents and reports covering building mechanical systems. Supervises mechanical engineers, technicians and CAD designers.
