Execute mechanical design activity and participate in projects as a direct contributor to a cross-functional team. Author, review and approve technical specifications, DFMEA's and test protocols, and execute design verification protocols. Update Solid Works CAD models and assemblies and review mechanical drawings and specification sheets. Create CAD models of plastic injection molded parts, sheet metal parts, aluminum castings, OEM parts, and electro-mechanical assemblies. Troubleshoot mechanical design and performance issues and complete root cause analysis. The chosen candidate will also participate in the development of project plans and budget estimates.
