Manage, direct and coordinate efforts to insure safe, economical and uninterrupted production of electricity from the coal fired generating station. All efforts to be within the guidelines of corporate and station goals and be within all governmental and regulatory requirements. The Operations Manager is responsible for the operation of the power plant including the day-to-day operation of the station, the solid waste management facility (ash landfill), wastewater facility and coal handling/inventory operation.
