Develops commodity strategy for assigned commodity(ies) of the greatest complexity, volume or strategic priority. Globally sources suppliers. Develops new supply sources - Initiates requests for proposals/quotations. Establishes strategic relationships with suppliers and potential suppliers. Influences and negotiates at the highest levels. Works with suppliers and internal supply quality engineering to resolve quality issues. Requires global expertise of assigned commodities.
