Responsible for day to day management of the Systems Engineering organization. This includes identification of opportunities/marketing, development of scope, preparation of bid proposals and associated estimates in accordance with company processes and procedures. Includes managing engineering resources - assigning the correct resources to each task, assigning project engineers (leads), and project managers and assuring they have the organizational support required to successfully complete project tasks, identifying and hiring required resources, and performing annual reviews.
