The Director, Quality Assurance ensures safety and quality of all products produced. Responsibilities include ensuring that specifications are defined and communicated, formalizing process capability, institutionalizing process control and predictive quality process, inspections of processes, employee training, compliance with food laws and regulations, verification of plant HACCP plans, definition of best lab practices and overall management and enforcement of quality policies.
