The Chief Operating Officer reports to the Chief Executive Officer of hospital operations. Primary reporting relationships are with the Director of Nursing, Chief Financial Officer, Assistant Administrator and Controller. Primary responsibilities of the COO will be to provide direction and administration of general operations for ancillary departments, productive management, and new service line development. The accountability of this position is to ensure high quality health care is delivered which meets or exceeds set standards while maintaining a reasonable cost structure.
