Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Chief Operating Officer is responsible for all administrative, management and business functions of the ballet and School. In partnership with the Artistic Director, the COO is the primary architect for strategic planning and organizational development. Providing executive leadership to 60 non-artistic staff through 7 direct reports, the incumbent will collaborate with the Artistic Director in presenting the Ballet's artistic vision and representing the company to its many stakeholders. The incumbent will also develop and maintain an innovative organizational environment that will attract, retain and grow the human resource talent needed for the continued success of the company.
