The COO is accountable for operational leadership at the organization as a key member of the administrative team and backup for the President. The COO represents the organization in facility, market, and fund raising forums and supports all operational aspects of the hospital. This position is specifically responsible for the leadership of all ancillary and support services departments as well as ambulatory care, risk management, and compliance.
