This position will be responsible for developing sourcing strategies and strategically source/develop reliable supplier relationships in assigned commodities. Will negotiate, develop, and manage supplier relationships to ensure favorable terms, desired quality, and promopt delivery. Seek alternate sources of supply including sources outside the US, support supplier performance metrics and measurement programs, drive continuous improvements within the supplier base; properly plan and purchase commodities as well as initiate cost reduction projects.
