Practice Group Manager

DLA Piper, a leader in the practice of law worldwide, seeks a high-energy professional with excellent analytical, financial and communication skills. Strong client service orientation and the ability to collaborate across functions in a fast-paced environment is essential.  The ideal candidate will function as an operating manager by working with the leader of the top ranked Real Estate Practice in the US to oversee all aspects of the practice group operations.  Five (5) to seven (7) years experience in a professional services environment is required.  A Master’s degree in business administration, finance, strategic planning or similar field is also required. Knowledge of the Real Estate industry and Law firm experience is helpful, but not required.  Primary duties include:

• Functions as an operating manager for the group by helping the Practice Group leader, and the extended leadership at the local office level, manage all aspects of the operation of the practice group.


• Serves as the lead analytic and quantitative support professional for the practice group; evaluates financial reports and makes recommendations to improve practice group performance.
