Our client is a Global Professional Services Company who is sourcing candidates for a Head of Global IT Sourcing. This individual must have proven experience and with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders. Job description :
The Head of Global IT Sourcing will be responsible for a global IT spend of approximately $500 million. This individual will develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies globally for Software, Hardware, Telecommunications, Outsourcing, etc. as well as manage and support a small team to achieve corporate goals. This individual will lead the global strategic sourcing and supplier management processes. Who we are looking for :
Candidates that will be considered should meet the following: 10+ years global IT Strategic Sourcing experience with at least 5 years managing and leading a team. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Must have a proven track record of practical, hands-on experience utilizing the 7-step strategic sourcing process. Ability to communicate and influence internal and external stakeholders Excellent negotiation skills Strong problem solving skills with the ability to analyze and resolve potential issues. MBA & CPM is preferred. Whats on offer :
