A leading multi-plant food manufacturing company is searching for a Manager to lead their 24 hour baking Manufacturing Operation at the plant location in the SouthWest area of Houston, Tx.  The Manager will manage several supervisors over a substantial workforce.  Growth and promotional opportunities are available at this location as well as at the other manufacturing plants within the company.  This is an excellent opportunity to further your career at an established, progressive, and well run company.  An excellent Benefit package is provided, and relocation assistance is offered.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and train the production supervisors and production workers to perform in an efficient, Safe, and Quality fashion
- Monitor production results using SPC and other tools, and make improvements where necessary.
- Maintain Inventory Control of all materials
- Assume the duties of the Plant Manager in his absence.
- Maintain HACCP requirements.
- Responsible for hiring decisions.
- Manage the Department financial budget

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- At least 5 years experience managing or supervising a baking operation
- AIB certification preferred
- A progressive leader, able to motivate and train people, and to professionally interact with all levels of Plant Management
- A change agent, with successful experience with Continuous Improvement processes
- Skills with Word and Excel
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required
