Job Description
Supports existing and new business activities for a world renowned teleecommunications firm. Projects support DoD, Civilian Agency and commercial customers in both FFP, T&M and Cost reimbursable contract arrangements. Responsible for proposal preparation, executing NDA/Teaming Agreements, terms and conditions, negotiations, preparation of modification requests, ensuring contract compliance with terms and conditions and closeout activities. Interact with all project functionals such as project control, technical staff, pricing, billing department and procurement organizations. Require minimal oversight in preparing proposals and administering contracts. Experience leading cost proposal team, assisting in pricing strategy, subcontract/vendor teaming, team leader in the organization.
Requirements
10 years experience in contracts related field dealing with Federal Government issues. Ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external clients in a fast paced, quick turn-around environment. Have good oral and written communication skills and help with problem-solving in supporting an operations team. Experience working with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS). Knowledge and familiarity of FAR and DFARS. Contracts certification a plus. Experienced in using standard Microsoft Office applications (MS Word, Excel). Clearance Requirements: Candidates must be able to receive a DoD Clearance.
