Engineering Manager

This individual operates as the technical fluidics expert within Mechanical Engineering department and will provide advanced principals, theories, and concepts to product development.  They must be able to handle the most complex planning of detailed product development (preparation/design, sketches, layouts, specifications, analysis, prototypes, testing, standardization, documentation, avoidance of infringement). This individual will be developing precision volume fluid dispensing systems and pumps, castings and molded plastic components. They must have knowledge and expertise of plastic parts processing, metal casting, sheet metal and metal machining. Excellent grasp of computer systems with a focus on CAD (SolidWorks, PDM Works, ANSYS and COSMOS preferred), file transfer methods, 2D & 3D file formats and networked interrelationships in a design atmosphere.

Requirements:

- BSME or similar & 10+ years of experience in Engineering capacity
- Must be skilled in fluidics, pneumatics, manifold design, fluidic system design, etc.
- Must be familiar with pumps, valves, pressure gages, switches
- Able to manage a group of fluidic engineers both functionally and on projects. Experience managing is a must.
