JOB DESCRIPTION

Are you a big-picture thinker with executive level business optimization experience?  Can you identify opportunities for improvement and influence those around you to capture those opportunities while developing processes to ensure ongoing efficiency?


 


In this newly recreated role, you will be responsible for capturing direct and indirect cost opportunities and the development of processes, procedures and automation to ensure the ongoing nature of the cost savings.  There are no limitations as to the areas you can impact in this global role.


 


General Description:     


 


Reporting directly to the CFO and dotted lined into the CEO, the Head of Global Business Optimization will lead and drive the portfolio of global Optimization initiatives company-wide: 


 



  • Must be an effective leader with strong financial analysis skills to drive, direct and capture direct and indirect cost optimization opportunities starting with a defined portfolio of project initiatives. 

  • Must be able to build strong, positive cross-functional relationships in a complex global organizational environment with strong influencing skills.

  • Must have domain knowledge in cost optimization/management.

  • Leveraging off of the success of internal team, to package technology and processes to promote scalable service to market.

  • Ability to manage global team remotely in a matrixed environment and to deliver results.


 


Knowledge and Skills:


 



  • Proven analytical and quantitative skills

  • Previous research, modeling and financial analysis experience

  • Self-starter with strong knowledge of business fundamentals

  • Experience as an individual and group contributor for complex problems

  • Demonstrated organizational and project management skills

  • Ability to develop and train staff

  • Commitment to superior quality and accuracy

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Experience with developing and maintaining relationships with all internal departments

  • Demonstrated team leadership and management skills

  • Ability to motivate team members to reach and succeed all objectives

  • Strong ability to analyze and organize data

  • Flexibility for international travel



  • BPO and Six Sigma preferred





Experience: 


 



  • Minimum 8 years of related experience in Optimization

  • Participation/Membership in Professional Affiliations preferred


 


Education:     


 



  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Economics or Finance

  • MBA preferred
