Special Technical Operations Planner IT/095757

Northrop Grumman Information Systems, through its Information Operations Operating Unit, is seeking a Special Technical Operations (STO) Planner to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals providing full spectrum support to Combatant Commanders and Department of Defense Organizations. The STO Planner will serve as the Joint IED Defeat Organization liaison to select Combatant Commands applying expertise in operational planning and compartmented capabilities to counter improvised explosive devices and associated networks across the commands AOR. The planner must have familiarity with DoD acquisition policy and processes, the Joint Operational Planning Process, and Joint security policy; have a working knowledge of improvised explosive device (IED) construction, usage, and TTP; work as a member of a team with strong interpersonal, writing and speaking skills; and support mission accomplishment with minimal guidance and supervision. Positions are located in the National Capitol Region and at Combatant Command HQs. Some, but not all, positions may require deployment overseas. The candidate must be a U.S. citizen with an active TS/SCI clearance and have operational expertise with an OSD/Joint Staff/Combatant Command. The applicant must also have a current CI polygraph or be willing to submit to one as a condition of employment. Minimum of a bachelors degree with 9 years military experience or 13 years experience in lieu of degree. This position is contingent upon contract award, budget, and/or customer approval.
