JOB DESCRIPTION
Essential Responsibilities: This developmental position carries the responsibilities for supporting an officer of the company in Northeastern and Southeastern United States. Successful candidates will develop a thorough knowledge of the business and increase their authority to make crucial decisions affecting the direction of the organization.
The focus will include the following.
- Give direction, oversee and guide completion of key assignments.
- Manage essential correspondence; execute accurate preparation of research and communication plans, understanding in varying degree the requirements of the executive.
- Prioritize and manage the calendar with an ability through this understanding to decide which scheduled events or meetings are most appropriate for allocation of the executive’s time.
- The executive assistant may from time to time act as proxy for the executive, representing them in meetings or communications.
This role and its accompanying accountabilities will be to assist in the further development and management of the company, and the vitality of its executives.
Qualifications:
- Ability to split residence between southern Florida and Williamstown, Massachusetts.
- Knowledge of Real Estate, Finance, and Banking
- Experience in Sales Process
- Minimum of 7-10 years of successful business experience
- Must be able to manage people, and work in a matrix organization
- Bachelors Degree in Business or related field preferred
- MBA preferred, not required
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to make smart and timely decisions while completing a high volume of tasks and projects with little or no guidance
- Ability to demonstrate a history of working independently with little guidance, anticipating next steps, taking initiative, exercising discretion and sound judgment, and working in a collaborative setting
- You must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States
