The Building Products division of Sales Consultants of Grand Rapids is a highly specialized team of professionals dedicated to working with organizations within the residential and commercial building products industry. We are currently working with a building materials manufacturer who is looking for an experienced leader in sustainability. They are developing initiatives to create value and improve the environment amongst all areas of the company. Will participate in research and product development. Position will develop and maintain renewable energy projects, including influencing relationships with cutsomers, as well as influence purchasers and encourage sustainability. Will leverage and partner with the appropriate resources to lead and drive energy efficiency to create competitive advantage.

Position requires ten years experience in the building materials or related industry with experience managing green initiatives, green products and accelerating energy efficiency. Position will work directly to lead the overall strategy and execution amongst the company, including overseeing eight to ten direct reports. Will develop relevant metrics to measure and track the overall impact of green initiatives. Will effectively communicate strategies to stakeholders. Will provide overall leadership to achieve business outcomes. Position does require about 20 % travel. Bachelors degree in Science or related industry is absolutely required and Masters degree is strongly preferred. Company offers base salary plus 20% bonus, as well as a relocation package. MUST be willing to live in the Columbus, Ohio area.
