Description:
The Programmed Depot Maintenance (PDM) Manager leads the C-20 Depot IPT and functions as the on-site representative of the NGTS C-20 Operations Manager. The PDM Program Manager will be responsible for the oversight of all depot maintenance, as well as ensuring that all contractual requirements are satisfied by the C-20 depot. The candidate will be required to work with subcontractor depot maintenance supervisors to resolve impacts to cost/schedule/performance of depot operations. The PDM Manager will be responsible for identifying and reporting progress and deficiencies to the C-20 Operations Manager. Responsibilities will also include negotiating with DCMA regarding Over and Above work and other contractual issues as necessary. Duties will include attendance at daily production meetings and providing daily reports to the C-20 Operations Manager on aircraft and material status. PDM Manager will conduct weekly depot status meeting with Government personnel. Will be responsible for deploying personnel to multiple sites and maintain unity of management and effort in meeting all contract requirements at all depot sites. Will use MAXIMO to plan and stage material for upcoming depot maintenance inspection requirements and to ensure that the necessary stock will be on-hand when required and expedite all material requirements identified during inspections. Minimum of 7-10 years management/supervisory experience in the aviation industry with the maintenance, planning, and scheduling of heavy maintenance is required. A minimum of five years experience working Gulfstream III and/or IV aircraft, preferably in both a military and commercial maintenance environment is needed. Must possess outstanding interpersonal skills and be able to work closely with subcontractors, DCMA, coordinate with flight crews, and represent NGTS as depot maintenance subject matter expert at various meetings and program reviews. Candidate must possess a high school or equivalent diploma and Airframe and Power Plant Certificate (A&P). Must have ability to evaluate maintenance performed and assess earned value. Must be able to read, use, and interpret maintenance manuals, CMP.NET, and engineering dispositions. Must be computer literate with a working knowledge of MS Office suite. Familiarity in the use of MAXIMO is a plus. Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance. Relocation Assistance Available. Security Clearance Required.
