Description

Key Role:

Provide acquisition management support to government clients. Maintain responsibility for gathering requirements and analyzing and selecting the most appropriate proposed acquisition solutions for applicability to stated functional needs. Apply knowledge of the defense acquisition process to support government program engineers and contractor program management support personnel in the analysis of acquisition process policies and procedures. Use quantitative analytical techniques to assess system acquisition process issues and develop risk reduction and mitigation approaches for improving acquisition and program planning, control, and execution. Devise innovative acquisition strategies for deploying and implementing new acquisition policy initiatives and measuring the effectiveness of the implementation. Review and provide oversight of procurement initiation documentation, including RFQs, SOWs, performance specifications, and requested memoranda, including IT approvals and justification memos that most effectively meet program needs in accordance with cost, schedule, and technical requirements. This position is located in Lexington Park, MD.

QualificationsBasic Qualifications: -8+ years of experience with acquisition -Experience with conducting service or supply acquisition and procurement management, defining acquisition alternatives, and monitoring, tracking, and reporting acquisition activities -Ability to obtain a security clearance -AA or AS degree required   Additional Qualifications: -Experience with DoD and NAVAIR acquisition -Knowledge of FAR and DFAR and NMCARS -AA or AS degree in a technical, business, or management field   Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.   Integrating the full range of consulting capabilities, Booz Allen is the one firm that helps clients solve their toughest problems, working by their side to help them achieve their missions.
