• Proven Leader with proven experience implementing change within a large organization resulting in reduced costs, improved return on assets and improved customer service levels in a multi-facility network.
• Experience across all levels of Supply Chain, particularly Transportation.
• Proven track record of managing transportation department within multi-state locations.
• Strong business and financial acumen as evidenced by understanding of complex financial/transportation models.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong presentation skills to communicate the vision and values, and ability to present and make recommendations to members of senior management.
• Ability to identify, plan, and implement appropriate strategies within the framework of Company procedures.
• Comprehensive understanding of logistics cost models, and typical routings, time, and cost for bi-directional movement of products and goods between the USA, Asia and Europe
• Carrier-Base exposure to the broad, multi-mode North American carrier base including parcel, LTL, truckload, inter-modal, forwarding, fleet, etc.
• Volume experience in a high shipment, high dollar, ($75M+), multi-site (50+) environment.

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree from an accredited 4 year university~ Degree in Business Management, Logistics, Transportation or any other related field
• 10-15 years of management experience within a multi-mode, multi-site manufacturing/distribution network
