Northrop Grumman Information Systems sector is seeking a Pgm Cost Control Analyst 4 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Colorado Springs, CO. Put your years of experience into a future of excellence. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grummans Program Planning and control (PP&C) organization. The candidate will be responsible for the implementation of standard processes, tools and program planning and control practices supporting the JRDC Program. Reporting directly to the Business and Finance Manager, the candidate will be responsible for the following responsiblities: Roles and Responsibilities: * Participates in the control of costs on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system * Performs analyzes and prepares reports in order to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines. * Participates in the preparation of budgets for all contract work and performs and/or assists in financial analysis such as funding profiles and variance analysis. * Ensures adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures, and directing preparation of expenditure projections * Provides proposal pricing and support. * Maintains Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) * Charge number control on dynamic task order contracts * Final grade determination based on candidates qualification Minimum Qualifications: To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below: * Bachelors degree and 10 years experience in related field or 8 years with Masters * Proficient in MPM or Cobra and related accounting systems * Excellent PC skills including Excel and Word * Extensive Project Control background with a minimum of two (2) years experience using an Earned Value Measurement System (EVMS) * Extensive knowledge of the budgeting, forecasting and analysis cycle * Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills * Capable of a high level of accuracy and attention to detail * Possess an understanding and application of accounting principles and standards * Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration: * Bachelors degree in Business, Accounting, or related field * Position prefers a candidate with a current Secret Clearance Northrop Grumman Corporation will consider qualified college graduates, regardless of age.
