Description

Key Role:
Assist the government by providing expert research and analysis to support the identification, development, and fielding of new capabilities for Army combat units and staffs at the Soldier Battle Lab (SBL) in Fort Benning, GA. Analyze the doctrine, organization, training, materiel, leader development and education, personnel, and facilities (DOTMLPF) capabilities. Participate in formal and informal working groups formed to assess specific operational-related capabilities to help the Army decide the future of those capabilities. Participate in SBL and Asymmetric Warfare Division internal conferences and meetings and interact daily with Military and government service personnel and other contractors who are working with related issues in support of Army combat units.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
-20+ years of experience in active Military service at the Major O4 level or above in the US Army with the majority of that service being in Army combat or combat support units or equivalent experience as an officer in the US Marine Corps, as a government civilian in grade GS-13 or higher, or as a defense consultant
-Experience with the Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) or Soldier Battle Lab
-Experience with working on combat or capability development issues
-Top Secret clearance
-BA or BS degree
 
Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with a major deployment of US Army forces, including Iraq, Afghanistan, Balkans, and Somalia
-Possession of excellent written and oral presentation skills
-MA or MS degree
-Graduate of the Army War College or other service equivalents
 
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.
