VP Procurement

Our privately held multi-billion client is searching for a VP PROCUREMENT based in Jersey City, New Jersey (near New York City; Northern New Jersey area).  The VP will manage a $3-9B procurement budget. 

NOTE:  Must have experience managing billion dollar procurement budgets.  Our client will NOT interview candidates without procurement background.

The VP will manage the global procurement department.  Responsibilities include setting strategic vision, metric driven objectives, supplier diversity, procurement, sourcing, contract management, and vendor relationship. 

4 MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

* Directly managed a $3 to $9 billion procurement budget (must directly manage it; not management by committee).

* Corporate, Fortune 500, or private company experience at a multi-billion company (i.e., P&G, Unilever, Diageo, Exxon-Mobil, Chevron, PSEG, Exelon Energy, etc.)

* Bachelors degree, prefer Masters

* Long-term, stable career progression (not job hoppers; no matter what the rationale).
