The Procurement Lead will be the single point of contact for the Procurement Tower Lead, Accenture Delivery Leads, and local indirect material and services, and Maintenance, Repair and Operations spend owners for a client.  The Procurement Lead will run the day-to-day operations at the country level.  Responsibilities may include:

• Responsible to compile process performance data for all Delivery Centers specific to client to support the SLAs.
• Leads service action plans.
• Support mobilization team for transition.
• Lead for Quality Assurance investigations.
• Leads/Participates in Operational Excellence projects providing client point of view.
• Support sourcing project planning and execution; represent the Canada region view. Working closely with US and Mexico for initial services implementation and on-going delivery.
• Support the implementation of procurement operations and sourcing support for the Canada region.
• Support solution adoption and stakeholder change analysis/management and strategy execution.

QualificationsBasic Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years experience delivering Sourcing, Category Management and related Procurement Solutions
• Minimum of 5 years experience supervising a team
• Bachelors Degree

Prefered Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience working collaboratively with various indirect material and services and MRO spend owners initiatives.
• Creative thinker with an ability to develop market facing offerings.
• Strong and proven negotiation skills and experience negotiating at a senior level.
• Experience of managing, leading, and developing geographically dispersed resources.
• Project management experience.
• Self-starter, demonstrating initiative, ability to motivate, positive and customer focused attitude.
• Ability to manage relationships effectively with all levels within customer and supplier organizations.
• Strong analytical, written and oral communication skills.
• Experience of working with e-sourcing technology.
• Competent in the use of Microsoft Office IT packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Project).
• Excellent written and oral language skills.
• Professional Procurement Qualification (ie C.P.M.).
