Description:
Responsible for cost, schedule and technical performance of company programs/projects. Manage all phases of programs/projects from acquisitions through completion. Participate in baseline contract negotiations and contract changes. Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules. Coordinate the preparation of proposals, business plans, statements of work and specifications, operating budgets and sessions with customers to discuss cost, schedule and technical performance.. Direct the work of employees assigned to the programs/projects from technical, manufacturing and administrative areas. Capable of setting strategy in a specific product area. Capable of early identification and mitigation of program performance issues. Knowledge of program management best practices, earned value management, risk management. Track record of both development and production program management backgrounds in a high technology area. Capable of managing multiple development and/or production programs concurrently. Skills/Requirements: Bachelors degree required. 10+ years experience managing complex programs with dynamic customers. Previous profit and loss responsibility MBA and PMI certification a plus. Excellent communication Program Management experience with Defense Programs (EVMS, Risk management) Must possess and demonstrate excellent leadership behaviors and values. Ability to communicate both internally and externally is a must. Requires exceptional and polished presentation/briefing skills and the ability to succinctly articulate complex ideas and concepts at the most senior levels of management Conversely, will possess excellent active listening skills and instinctively knows when to employ them Relocation Assistance Available.
