Space Mechanisms Engineer - ST/096071

Description: Position is in Mechanisms Engineering working with long life precision pointing and control actuators. Position requires interfacing with many disciplines. Will support procurement, manufacturing, assembly, and test of multiple new actuators. Tasks may include design review support, writing test procedures, subsystem engineering support, and writing CICPs (Critical Item Control Plans). Good design, analysis, and communication skills are required. Min 5-10 years experience with mechanisms required. Grade ENG04/05 determination will be made based upon experience and skill set. Required Skills: Experience with electro-mechanical components (motors, resolvers, harmonic drives and bearings) and their application required. Requires requirements definition capability, procurement support capability and hardware management ability. Hardware assembly and space mechanisms experience is required. Candidates must have the ability to obtain an SSBI clearance. Relocation Assistance Available.
