Logistics Management Analyst Position Summary/Responsibilities Controls the efficient flow of goods, services, and information between point of origin and customer worksite located at Fort Belvoir, VA. Ensures that customer service and time requirements are met, within existing financial constraints, in order to meet operational objectives. Ensures the execution and continuous improvement of standard logistical processes, such as system procurement, property accountability, and system life cycle replacement. Builds relationships with logistics management counterparts within parent organization as well as with external organizations to facilitate the coordination of various logistical support projects. Integrates learning from customers, local vendors, transportation and distribution points, other industries, and professional training to continuously improve customer support. In addition, performs a number of general administrative tasks such as budget preparation, project scheduling, record keeping, and statistical reporting. Knowledge, Skills, and Ability Complete understanding of US Army logistical and administrative principles, concepts, practices, and standards. Independently demonstrates the skill and ability to perform fairly complex professional tasks and develop solutions to a variety of complex problems. Must be able to receive general guidance and set milestones and objectives for task accomplishment. Ability to communicate fluently in host nation language desired.
