NGIS has an immediate need for a hands on, experienced Senior Contracts Manager to work in an aggressive, leading edge Operating Unit. Minimum BA/BS plus 12 years experience in contracts. In-depth knowledge of FAR/DFARS, commercial terms, intellectual property rights and CAS. The qualified person will participate, supervise and manage professional and adiministrative contracts personnel in proposal preparations/support, contract negotiations, contract administration, and customer contact. In addition, the selected candidate will provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and contract terms & conditions. Responsibilities and requirements involve managing the preparation and approval of NDAs, teaming agreements, proposals and other contractual actions; examining various sources of information for accuracy and completeness; taking corrective actions as required and preparing in-depth briefings, and participating in management reviews at all levels. In addition to supervisory responsibility, the successful candidate will manage a contract portfolio of their own and will periodically participate or lead special projects as assigned by the supervisor. The candidate must be able to quickly learn and implement Northrop Grumman policies and procedures; have 12 years experience in contracts including related field; would consider 16 years of experience in contracts field in lieu of a degree; ability to multi-task, adjust priorities, and meet deadline situations and interact effectively with all levels; have excellent communication skills; prefer at least Bachelors degree. An MBA or JD degree is desirable. In addition to the above responsibilities, the successful candidate will have a portfolio of their own contracts to manage. Candidate programs under the individuals authority include major programs such as CLIP, BAMS and KC-45. Candidate must possess or be able to receive a DoD SECRET clearance.
