Job Description: Candidate shall have a detailed knowledge of computational electromagnetics techniques - "first principle" techniques such as the finite element and method of moments as well as approximate asymptotic techniques such as geometrical theory of diffraction and physical optics. Candidate should have extensive experience in formulation and coding of new techniques for computational electromagnetics and have performed original research in the field. The candidate should have experience in model generation and operation of first principle and high-frequency electromagnetic simulation tools. Candidate should have Unix and Fortran and C programming experience. Duties will include utilizing such tools for preliminary analysis and upgrading the tools to enhance the modeling performed in the preliminary assessment. The position calls for excellent collaboration and inter-personal skills and the ability to work in an environment with stringent deadlines. Basic Qualifications: B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Physics with a minimum of fourteen years of related experience. This person must also have experience in analytically developing, designing and implementing RCS suppression techniques. An active Top Secret security clearance is required for consideration. Preferred Experience: M.S. degree or PhD. in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Physics. Familiarly with analytical EM material models and IR signature performance predictions.
