Materials Manager

The Materials Manager will provide strategy and direction for the plant materials team, network effectively with internal supply chain resources, and support plant functions to optimize material flow to meet and exceed customer requirements in the areas of productivity, quality, cost, delivery, and safety. This involves the responsibility of standard processes for directing and administering materials scheduling, inventory control, and logistics management.

Bachelors Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or related field (MBA Preferred ). Proven Leadership Skills with a minimum of 3-5 years experience in Materials or related field.

Experience in the following areas:
- Experience working with an ERP/MRP system (Oracle is preferred) 
- Green Belt certification is highly preferred
- Proficient knowledge of MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
- Strong communication and presentation skills are required
- Demonstrated leadership in project management
- Strong analytical skills and ability to recognize accuracy and trends in data is required
- LEAN training and experience with Pull Systems is preferred
