Duties: You will serve as Budget Analyst, Resource Management, Technology and Resources Division, for the JIEDDO leading, planning, coordinating and executing all strategic actions supporting the integration of multiple Joint IED Defeat solutions throughout DoD. In this position you will perform a variety of budget management duties including development of POM, offset analysis, current year budget management and contract oversight in support of the JIEDDO; plan, organize and execute of annual and multi-year programming and budgeting functions to support functions and activities within the Joint IED Defeat Task Force, including the forward Operations Field Teams;interpret financial policies and procedures generated by OSD and the Department of the Army (DA) to include implications of immediate and long range management activities, plans and decisions; direct analysis of financial program accomplishments, funding requirements, and resource utilization for all serviced activities.

*    SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Candidates for this position must identify in their resume that they possess one year of specialized experience and training that provided: Mastery of the concepts, principles, practices, laws, and regulations of budgeting and/or financing; and the financial and budgetary relationships between subordinate and most senior levels of financial management and budgeting within the employing entity and/or between the organization and programs of other Federal, State, and local governments, private industry, and large public organizations sufficient to analyze national level programs, exceptionally large and complex programs (e.g., multi-million dollar research grants, contracts, and /or cooperative acquisition agreements)

*    Position may be filled by temporary promotion not to exceed. ONE YEAR

*    Position may be filled by temporary reassignment not to exceed.ONE YEAR

*    Position may be converted to permanent without further competition.

*    NSPS - This position is a temporary position and may be extended in one year increments up to a maximum of three years.

*    Payment of Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs is authorized, subject to the provisions of the Joint Travel Regulations.

*    Temporary Duty (TDY) travel is 20 percent.

*    Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.

*    Must comply with Drug Abuse Testing Program requirements.
