Key Role:

Provide technical consulting services to Military and DoD clients in the energy end-use area, with an emphasis on mobility energy use, including fuel and battery power usage, energy efficiency reduction technologies, and improved operating practices for military systems. Develop decision frameworks, new processes, and practices to incorporate energy efficiency and fuel efficiency into DoD requirements development, acquisition, force planning, and program management practices, with a focus on operational energy usage. Take a leadership role in managing technical and economic assessments and analyses of mobility energy issues, impacts of energy use on force planning, requirements development, and life cycle management of new Military systems. Operate as a key team member developing support for energy program management offices across DoD and the Military services. Manage policy analyses, financial analysis, and technical assessments for new Military systems with a focus on impacts of energy usage, including emerging requirements to assess carbon emission impacts from energy usage. Handle a dynamic and changing work environment. Work independently and in a team environment as a leader, facilitator, and team member.

QualificationsBasic Qualifications: -10 years of experience with energy technologies -Experience with fuel and power trade-offs in major transportation or weapons systems
-Experience in working with or managing teams -Experience in working with DoD or Military clients
-Ability to obtain a security clearance -BA or BS degree   Additional Qualifications -Ability to use industry standard office tools, including Microsoft Access and Excel -Ability to set and meet self-imposed deadlines and work effectively in teams -Possession of excellent analytical skills -Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills -MA or MS degree
