Director of Quality

High tech electronics manufacturing service EMS provider is looking for a Director of Quality.  Ideal candidate should have:

• Good background in low to mid volume EMS or contract electronics manufacturing CEM Desired aerospace, defense and military applications


• Desired medical, industrial, commercial applications


• Circuit board/card assemblies, production control supervision


• Surface mount technology (SMT), lean manufacturing


• Supervision of technical support to assembly, inspection and test operations, management of product quality enhancement activities, design improvements to reduce cost and improve quality


• Ability to work closely with General Managers across multiple plants to align quality initiatives, provide guidance on ISO and quality related activities, customer interface to resolve quality issues, implementation of TQM for best in class


• Champion Six Sigma initiatives, maintain internal audit. 


• Required Black Belt/Green Belt Six Sigma Certification, ASQ Quality Certification, and knowledge of ISO standards
