This company is a leading provider of physical rehabilitation program management services in hospitals, skilled nursing facilities and other long-term care facilities. The vision of the company is to provide a clinically integrated continuum of post-acute care.
The Director of Performance Support will have the following responsibilities:
1. Key Performance Indicator remote review at every site on a routine and regular basis. Prompt notification to the operators for those areas of concern that is outside of an acceptable range established by the division. Serve as the driver in the development of operational improvement plans as indicated.
2. Take lead role in assuring Sales and Marketing development of annual strategic plans. Provide ongoing monitor of those plans.
3. Serve as the division’s driver of the development of clinical programs to ensure best practice
4. Provide ongoing market analysis of opportunities for referral development for existing services and potential for market driven clinical programming.
5. Provide indirect leadership to the interdisciplinary team in the constant pursuit of improved performance, as well as strong operational success. Support the position that profits follow quality and the importance of strong contribution margin.
6. Ensure the utilization of the program’s resources is providing the optimum value to the patients they serve, the host hospital and the organization.
7. Guidance in and monitoring of programmatic compliance with established regulatory agencies, third party payers, and other key stakeholders. Understanding, interpretation, and assistance with accreditation continual survey readiness.
8. Development of clinical documentation processes and formats.
9. Development and update of policy and protocol for those areas that affect quality, compliance, accreditation, utilization, and census development
10. Assist with operational review as it relates to business development opportunities
The Director of Performance Support will work out of a home office and travel approximately 50% of the time. The candidate must have previous SALES and MARKETING EXPERIENCE, be clinically astute, and have substantial credibility in the field as a program expert. The candidate must be an Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, Speech Therapist, or Register Nurse and have analytical and information technology savviness to ensure decision making is data driven. The candidate must be Bachelor’s prepared and Master’s preferred.
