The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grummans in support business initiatives by providing strategic direction to the Industrial Security Program. The selected candidate will manage compliance with U.S. Government security requirements, integrating management, oversight, functional responsibility, and interpretation/implementation of security policy into a seamless well-balanced industrial security program. The selected candidate will represent the business enterprise as its primary security focal point to the customer community and will lead and direct support personnel to achieve successful security compliance reviews. Roles and Responsibilities: * A firm understanding of security policies, procedures and directives applicable to every aspect of the NISP and have performed as a Facility Security Officer (FSO). * Special Access Required (SAR) experience and understanding of JAFAN requirements is also preferred, as well as Intelligence Programs (SCI) and related regulations and procedures/processes (ACAVS). * Oversight of the Information System Security Manager (ISSM) is a critical responsibility; therefore, the candidate must possess sound basic knowledge of computer systems and their components and the applicability of NISPOM, Chapter 8 requirements against that knowledge. * Must, with little supervision, have the ability to analyze problems, make sound decisions, take independent actions, and provide focused solutions to security-related issues impacting the business enterprise. * The ability to effectively communicate information to audiences of varying size and complexity, both verbally and through written communication is an absolutely critical element of the position. The ability to successfully interface with senior management and customer executives is another critical component of the position. Minimum Qualifications: To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below: * Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice and 8 years related experience. (Years of experienced may be traded for the degree requirement). * Current Top Secret clearance required. * Strong Industrial Security experience working for large, dynamic company. * Facility Security Officer (FSO) experience. * Basic computer and presentation skills. * Previous supervisory experience. * Position requires a current Top Secret Clearance Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration: * Knowledge of U.S. Government security requirements and company policies. * Knowledge of U.S. Army Regulations. * Strong U.S. Government and Customer relationships. * Ability to write effective security policies and procedures. * Ability to communicate and present briefings to large groups, executives, and U.S. Government customers.
