Put your years of experience in military operations and operations research analysis into a future of excellence with Northrop Grumman supporting a customer on the Joint Chiefs of Staff and/or at the Combatant Commands. Northrop Grumman Technical Services sector is seeking a Operations Research Analyst 4 (T18004) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in defining the future. This position will be located in Multiple Locations (Worldwide). The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grummans Team supporting Joint Staff (J-8) and the Combatant Commands providing functional and technical expertise for studies, analysis, and assessments of Defense programs, processes, doctrines, policies, plans and strategies as well as providing guidance, advice, and recommendations to support implementation and revision of the Defense Strategy. Roles and Responsibilities: * Locations include USFK, PACOM, SOCOM, NORTHCOM , CENTCOM, SOUTHCOM, STRATCOM, EUCOM, AFRICOM, TRANSCOM, * Member of a team providing support for DoD Analytic Agenda to include the Multi-Service Force Deployment (MSFD) process; studies and war games; and the development of Analytic Baselines. * Perform studies, analysis, and assessments of programs, processes, doctrines, policies and strategies, and provide the customer guidance, advice, and recommendations to support implementation and revision of the Defense Strategy. Support coordination of the Defense Strategy with the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution System (PPBES) cycle. Review and resolve issues with Defense Planning Scenarios. * Draft, coordinate, and maintain emergent COCOM OPLANs/CONPLANs. Conduct out-of-cycle reviews of COCOM OPLANs/CONPLANs to support OSD Contingency Planning Guidance. * Apply mastery level skill in advanced analytical, mathematical, or statistical techniques related to statistical analysis, parametric and non-parametric analysis, computer modeling, simulation, decision theory, mathematical programming, regression analysis, and economic analysis. * Provide an objective assessment and course of action recommendations of draft plans. Provide an assessment, and recommendations of planning guidance publications developed by OSD and the JS to include intelligence information. * Prepare and present senior executive level briefings and reports. * Provide support to the Force Structure, Resources, and Assessment Directorate of the Joint Staff and CoComs * Provide support to the Plans and Policy Directorates of the Joint Staff and CoComs Minimum Qualifications: To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below: * Bachelors degree in engineering filed with 10 years experience OR Masters in engineering field with 8 years of task related experience * Position requires a current TS/SSBI Clearance Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration: * Masters Degree in Operations Research with 8 yrs of task related experience * Bachelors Degree in related engineer/science/math discipline with 14 years of experience * Degree in Operations Research or related engineering field of study * Experience serving on the Joint Staff or other staff particularly in the JS J8 or J5 and at the Combatant Commands * Experience with JCIDS (CJCS 3170) and/or the Analytic Agenda and National Security This position is contingent upon contract award, budget, and/or customer approval.
