The Project Manager is responsible for organizing and managing a project to ensure the project is completed within the defined scope, quality, time and cost constrains. The Project Manager participates as an individual contributor, large scale IT project team member or may lead global project teams on small to large scope IT projects through all project phases. Adheres to project management standards and procedures. Works under general supervision with periodic reviews. The work has high business impact on cross-functional global teams and projects.
*Some travel required.
•Ensure adherence to IT policy and specifically SDLC/PMLC (Solution Delivery Life Cycle/Project Management Life Cycle) process for managing projects and required deliverables. Ensure documentation is complete, current, and stored appropriately
•Partner with the business Project Lead to drive the project
•Identify and manage project issues with business partners or project teams.
•Work as the senior business analyst on some projects.
•Development and manage the Project Management Plan for the project, including Integration, Scope, Time, Cost, Quality, Resources, Communications, Risk management, and Procurement
•Recognize risks/issues that need escalation and arrange for appropriate assistance
•Track, manage to resolution and report on issues and bugs
•Communicate/report project progress related to schedule, work performance and finance to necessary stakeholders on a regular basis
•Hold regular status meetings with project team
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business (or Management), Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience is required; an MBA is desirable, PMI Certified or equivalent is a plus. APICS certification is a plus.
•3-5 years of IT experience in project management and execution involving major development projects including system analysis, development, implementation, and maintenance of large-scale projects
•2-3 years of experience in JDE. Experience with Supply Chain is needed.
•Demonstrated competency in strategic thinking and leadership with strong abilities in relationship management
•Established track record of managing technical and/or analysis staff through various life-cycle phases (cross-functional experience highly desirable)
•Demonstrated leadership of multidiscipline, high-performance work teams/groups
•Managed financial resources to meet goals and multiple projects
•Demonstrated high competency in project management and the execution of multiple large projects, including managing resources, across multiple projects to meet goals
