Production Manager

Global Personal Care Company has an immediate opening for a Production Manager at it’s Chicago Manufacturing Facility

  RESPONSIBILITIES

• Key member of the Plant Leadership Team reporting to the Business Unit Manager


• Manage all production related activities


• Lead efforts to create a stable operating environment


• Lead, mentor and develop a team of (5) direct and (60) indirect reports in a 3 shift, 5 day operation


• Create a Team passionate about working safely and in full compliance with all regulations


• Contribute to the development of the Annual Operating Plan including fixed and variable spend, productivity improvements as well as product and service quality targets


• Effectively manage the Team’s Performance Management process, focusing on building a strong team


• Create a team that embraces continuous improvement on a daily basis


• Ensure compliance with all HES regulatory and internal management system practices and policies

REQUIREMENTS

• BS degree in Engineering, preferably Chemical Engineering


• 7-10 years of experience in personal care, consumer products or pharmaceutical manufacturing is required


• At least 5 years of production management experience is required


• Demonstrated leader with track record of being creative, leading change and achieving successful results is a must


• Experience with high speed packaging operations preferred


• Knowledge of FDA regulations and cGMP standards preferred


• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
