Project Engineer 170A

Candidate will perform project engineering function on midstream growth and maintenance capital projects. Work consists of upfront estimating and facilities planning, development of AFE’s, managing compression, gas plant and pipeline projects from conception to in service, oversight of engineering and construction contractors and inspection personnel and support of field midstream operations. This position requires at least 12 years of engineering experience.  Work in a technical services type of organization in project engineering and execution for a midstream type of operator or a natural gas company is preferred; and experience with gas plants, compression and pipelines preferred.  Incumbent must possess strong communications skills to work with both internal and external customers.  An extensive knowledge of midstream pipeline, compression and plant design, construction and operations is required. The successful candidate will be one who can balance multiple projects that are in various stages of project life at any given time. A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required and Project Management certification is desired.  Moderate field travel is expected.
