JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary Statement:
 
The Senior Customer Business Manager will drive KFs selling efforts with an identified cluster of customers.  The Senior Customer Business Manager will manage and provide direction to all Customer Business Teams within that geography.  Generally, the Senior Customer Business Manager position will be placed in the larger KF Sales regions where size limits the Region Managers ability to directly manage all Customer Business Teams.  The position will drive the following broad business strategies. 
 
  • Implementation of the KF "Customer Business Strategy" in the area
  • Develop strategies to grow franchises through the use of customer specific sales/marketing programs
  • Provide expert category management resources to all Customer Business Teams and their customers
  • Coordinate cross functional teams to execute the customer business strategy
Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
 
  • Manage the Customer Business teams assigned, including human and business resources.
  • Build KF businesses with the customer as measured by profitability achievement, share gains, volume targets, special programs, and new item introductions.
  • Ensure that appropriate support mechanisms are in place for the Customer Business Teams to achieve business results.  Coordinate and leverage KF mass, brand equities, account activities and KF cross-functional resources.
  • Ownership of alignment between CBT and BU business expectations.
  • Ensures retail alignment between BU and customer initiatives.
  • Assists identification of consumer and customer insights and utilizes within business plan.
Establish a process for executing "supply chain initiative-based initiatives" with customers.  Initiatives will focus on category management innovative marketing and merchandising, and supply chain efficiencies. Qualifications/Abilities:
