Project Structural Engineer

HBE Corporation has an immediate opening for a Project Structural Engineer-California.     This person will work in the Los Angeles, CA area.     BS Degree Required, Masters Degree in Civil Engineering preferred.    Must have a California SE License.      Minimum 10 years of experience with structural engineering on major commercial projects using seismic design and analysis.      OSHPD Experience required.     Will perform complete structural engineering design for mid-rise steel and concrete structures in high seismic region, must be competent in seismic design.    Conformity with pertinent building codes, safety code ordinances and related regulations.     INvolved in all phases of the project-review of conceptual design through contract documents, review shop drawings and construction administration.     interface with owners representatives, construction and state authorities.     Must be able to have proficient use of computer applications such as RAMSTEEL and ETABS.    Knowledge of RISA, finite element analysis programs and Autocad preferred.     For immediate and confidential consideration, please send your resume with references and salary considerations
