Logistics Analyst, Principal (38487)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
As the Principal Logistics Analyst the incumbent will be involved in all facets of system research, development and acquisition program life cycle support. He/she must have an in depth knowledge and experience with the DoD and DON acquisition logistics requirements and procedures This position is in direct support of the Navy logistics lead for an ACAT 1 program.  The successful candidate must be able to support the development of ILS POA&Ms; create and update ILS Budgets; support analysis for Performance Based Logistics; create ILS plans, including ALSP/MAPP, NTSP, CM, P-Specs/CDDs, and HIS plans; judge the logistics impact of ECPs.  The successful candidate will be expected to take ownership of tasks, delivering quality products on time.  He will also be expected to take initiative to advise the client on logistics issues.  Travel: 2 - 4 trips per year to Florida, Norfolk, New York   Requires bachelors degree (in Logistics Management or related field) or equivalent, and ten to twelve years of related experience.
