JOB DESCRIPTION
Description The Operations Task Order (TO) Manager will support the CACI team by leading and managing the response to all operations specific task orders issued by USSOCOM and its associated components, directorates and subordinate commands. Serves as the primary focal point for management of all support services provided under Task Orders that provide operations support. Responsible for all cost, schedule and performance issues of operations-related task orders. The TO Manager will guide responses to operations specific task orders to include selecting the team member(s) best qualified and positioned to successfully compete for each task order. Ensures the quality execution of all deliverables and compliance with all task order requirements. Position requires a detail oriented, hands-on senior level individual with in-depth Special Operations Forces experience and knowledge of project management and operations management practices. The Operations TO Manager must demonstrate significant operations management and client relationship skills with the ability to oversee multiple task orders and delivery deadlines simultaneously. - In-depth knowledge and experience with Special Operations Forces doctrine, systems, procedures and operations. - Thorough knowledge and understanding of the SOF and USSOCOM, operations, processes and culture. - Possess a solid reputation within the Special Operations community. Recent experience working in or with USSOCOM HQs is highly desired. - Ability to conduct rapid yet thorough mission planning and execution. - Significant hands-on experience in managing project cost, schedule, and performance. - Strong verbal and written communication skills and an ability to coordinate with all levels of leadership. - Experience managing a large number of subcontractors is desired. - Thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Office © applications is strongly desired. - Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a significant plus. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Typically requires bachelors degree or equivalent, and 12 to 15 years of related experience, including three to five years of supervisory/management experience. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face. Some travel may be required.
