Assistant General Manager / Controller

Our client is a leading manufacturer and distributor of consumer products located in central Texas.  They are an established organization with revenues on the rise.  Current operations run from a single plant location.  

The company is in need of an individual who will serve in a dual role and wear multiple hats.  S/he will serve as the Assistant General Manager at the plant where they will be responsible for plant operation activities such as inventory, production, scheduling, etc.  S/he will also serve as the Controller for the company which will include planning, organizing, directing, and controlling the accounting and control function at the plant. S/he will close the monthly books and roll them up to corporate, prepare the Annual Plan, reports operational results, analyzes performance to Plan, and provides effective problem solving and decision-making.  S/he will support the CFO and the General Manager. 

This person will be a great communicator with excellent leadership skills, a strong sense of accountability and the ability to partner with key management and outside investors.

Must haves to be considered:

• Plant Operations Management experience in a manufacturing environment.


• A CPA (active)


• Demonstrated leadership skills


• The ability to wear multiple hats and change direction quickly - deal with issues on the production floor whle also ensuring the financials are being managed correctly.
