Automotive Component Design Engineer

We are recruiting for two exciting positions with a fast-growing, privately held, non-automotive electrical and electronic products company.

Working specifically in the fast-growing electric and hybrid vehicle markets, these design engineers are required to develop innovative products. 

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering 7+ years experience in automotive connector design


• Familiarity with PC board and electronic packaging


• Experience working in automotive markets with OEM, Tier 1 or Tier 2 suppliers


• Experience launching products through design and development phases and PPAP process familiarity.


• 
  

Stongly preferred:  Experience with electric vehicle charging equipment development.  Participation in relevant automotive industry standards task forces desired.
